Accomplishments
- Organized staff to respond in real-time to natural disasters during the 2021 winter blackout, essential resources and health education at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and on-going disaster relief following Hurricane Harvey
- Developed a data driven outreach strategy to prioritize presence at hot spots based on housing referral density
- Created SEARCH’s Engagement Center to provide SEARCH street outreach clients with a dedicated access point for The Way Home process
- Designed program tracking and reporting mechanisms to demonstrate outcomes and improve story telling
- Established SEARCH’s research workgroup for program evaluation and quality improvement
- Worked closely with Downtown & Midtown districts to address the wide-spread development of encampments and guide law enforcement towards the housing first approach
